Stage 1 Voluntary Water Restrictions Continue
Published on Thursday, July 2, 2026
Residents of Foxfire,
Our community is currently in Stage 1 voluntary water restrictions. With the holiday weekend here and temperatures expected to climb into possible triple-digit heat, please be extra mindful of water use and help conserve whenever possible. Small efforts today make a big difference in keeping service steady and reliable for everyone.
Please keep outdoor watering to only what’s necessary and avoid watering during the hottest part of the day. When watering, choose hand watering instead of irrigation whenever possible. If you use a hose, consider a shutoff nozzle and apply water directly to plants rather than spraying large areas. Also, please check for leaks such as dripping faucets, running toilets, or hoses that may be left on, and address them as soon as possible. Shorter showers and turning off the tap while brushing your teeth or shaving can also help. Finally, please avoid hosing down driveways, patios, and sidewalks.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and for being cognizant of your water use during the Stage 1 voluntary water restrictions and upcoming extreme heat.
Have a safe holiday!
