Message from Mayor Gregorich

Published on Tuesday, August 25, 2026

Dear Foxfire Residents,

During a Special Council Meeting on August 25, 2026, the Council voted three to one to appoint Leslie Frusco to fill the Council vacancy created by the resignation of Council Member Kevin Robbins.

Leslie has been a resident of the Village for more than twenty years and has been actively involved in serving our community. She previously served on the Village Council for many years as Finance Officer and Mayor Pro Tempore, generously contributing her time, knowledge, and expertise in numerous areas.

In her new position, Leslie will oversee Streets and Parks and will begin working in this area immediately. I am confident that her experience and commitment to Foxfire Village will be a valuable asset to our Council and our community.

I would also like to thank the three other applicants—Mark Dutton, Rick Montes, and Alec Michael Orr “Jack”—for their willingness to dedicate their time, talents, and experience to Foxfire Village. We appreciate their interest in serving our community.

Foxfire Village is a vibrant and unique community, and I am dedicated to working together as a team to continue the vision of past Councils while preserving what makes Foxfire so special and allowing it to remain the hidden gem of Moore County.

Thank you for your continued involvement in our community.

Sincerely,

Janice Gregorich, Mayor
